Marking One Year of War in Ukraine with the Smallest of Hopes
The hope is that one year after Russia invaded Ukraine in one of the most brutal, mistaken conflicts (as all are) that despair and death can turn to renewal and peace. As Marcus Aurelius said, those who don't transmit light emit darkness. Spring came early in this video that transforms from monochrome to brilliant color, just as Ukraine can do once Russia gets out forever. Peace and justice for Ukraine. Spring will come again.

A diary of philosophy, memory and pictures, taken on random days, to find what's true for me and what I find interesting. Nature stories, fiction, memory sketches, travel, and general musings can be found here. Dig deep for the variety.
